Yiwu, the reason you go there for economic purposes, that is, to get money, is because of the political freedom, which is so-called, but political freedom is about the best word to describe it, because political freedom is what it is. The political freedom is what creates the economic value.
There isn't less competition in the USA, there's a higher opportunity cost for employment, meaning people who would get very little pay for the same job in China, get a lot of pay in the USA. A rich country with political freedom pays people a lot, no matter what job they have.
