NITT, RE: Expensing options is all about stopping what many consider big abuses… “fat cats getting rich”. No, it isn't. It is all about proper financial statements. If it was all about stopping the 'big abuses' it wouldn't have been a big priority for the FASB long before the Bubble, when big abuses began to happen in large numbers.
