Americans should teach their kids Chinese so that they can be nannies for all the rich former-peasant Chinese out in the countryside. it's a load of shite darffot... i was chatting with a business contact several months ago who was recently returned from china...he told me that his company (emerson electric motors) spent nearly 3 years navigating the chinese red tape getting the go ahead for a new factory (i don't think he mentioned the provence, so i don't know) but once the deal was finalized within days he told me that literally 1000's of chinese converged in busses at the construction site with HAND SHOVELS to dig the foundations.... the biggest commodity in china is now and will continue to be cheap (we would call it "free" ) labor...
