You are in denial again(not the river). Why would an American choose to believe that Vietnam vets did commit atrocities when the vast majority of those vets have stated that it's not the case. There was one major incident, My Lai, and probably a few small incidents. You cannot expect a war to be executed without incidents of lost temper and/or inadvertent mistakes. You're setting the bar extremely high for American forces without taking into consideration the ruthless enemy they confronted daily. I ask again....why do you as an American prefer to believe the worst about those who put their lives on the line for their countrymen, rather than believe the majority of vets who insist atrocities were not a daily occurrence? You're taking the word of a political opportunist rather than that of average Americans.
