I am talking about the Japanese published books and newspaper before 1940s within the border of Japan. I am not talking about modern Japanese, nor do I care. Language is NOT static, it develops along with the society and economy. And I did learn 1.5 years of Japanese in college, so I am not entirely clueless about Japanese. Enough said.
