The rightwing has made a habit of attacking women. It's very sneaky the way they do it. They like to portray themselves as the party of masculine meat-eating military hetero men with strong spines, doting wives and Chreistian moral values. Of course the reality is often just the opposite. Therefore, to preserve the illusion, they often go after any strong women or liberal men trying to mock them as "weak" in one way or another. And if they run into a real war hero like Kerry they'll try and slander him too to smear him with the "femininity" brush.

The perfect example was the Hillary attacks, millions of attacks against her trying to portray her in this awful light. In reality, Hillary grew up a conservative Republican, a devout Methodist and has never even been much of a liberal. She was a strong woman who stoof up against the HMO and drug lobbies and the GOP decided to destroy her for it. They failed but they did do damage.

Now the GOP is going after fellow Republican (until last year) Theresa Heinz Kerry, in an effort to smear her husband and her at the same time. It's all about image destruction. The fact that Theresa is from Mozambique (which sounds French) and admits she's used botox automatically makes the rightwing declare that Kerry seems French and uses botox. Just total lies but what do they care? Honjestly has noting to do with their mission. It's all about emasculating and smearing.

Bush is from the most elite family in the nation, was a male cheerleader and dodged the draft but the GOP tries to make GW the macho man heartland warrior. Actually Bush is even more elitist than Kerry and had many more advantages in life.

The GOP is also trying to portray Theresa (and John) as filthy rich, elite and effete, selfish slaves of luxury. Meanwhile Bush's policies are highly beneficial to billionaires and the expense of everyone else and almost the entire White House crammed with multi-millionaire CEO types. Very very rich gang.

Amazing isn't it? The mind control image distortion game is a real science in the RNC basement. My real beef with them though is that they have absolutely no problem completely lying and slandering. They deliberately often state the exact opposite of the truth. They know what they're doing and they hope nobody figures it out. They rely on Hannity and Limbaugh types to keep repeating the lies until duped voters think they're true.

The biggest lie this week, that Kerry voted against body armor. Of course just the opposite is true., Bush neglected to give the troops proper armor going in and it was Kerry who fought hard for it.
