How do you know? Do you have recruitment numbers? I don't. But I do have common sense. Attacking and torturing a people can make them get angry at you. The costs are irrelevant if this effort makes me and my family safer. It doesn't make you any safer. Just look at the terror alert signal. It is still at "elevated" levels. Or is it there just to keep us all scared?
