Ish, the story is more than "only reported." There was a preliminary investigation which commenced in 2003, and then a Major General did an extremely thorough investigation, interviewing dozens of witnesses, including the victims, the suspects, and third parties. He released a 58 page finding of fact that is detailed and meticulous.

The persons involved in the investigation had the right to counsel and many of them submitted sworn affidavits.

So I disagree that it's just "reported." It's been more thoroughly investigated than most trials I've been in.
