When did Teresa Kerry say she couldn't believe she married an American? If she becomes First Lady her habitual statement to every European she sees will be "I can't believe those Americans expect me to act as their First Lady". Emperor & Empress of the U.S. is more their style. She was more than lucky to marry her first husband, John Heinz. The second time it was Kerry who made the catch of his lifetime--the goose who laid the golden campaign warchest.
