The key difference is America, not religion. We are lucky enough to live in a society where the standard of living is very high, in a just system of government. I don't see American Muslims blowing themselves up on the street. However, non-American Christians still kill in the name of the Lord (see Serbia). The difference is not the religion, but the environment.

As long as we continue to exploit the Arab nations, and the Israelis continue to assassinate, break hands, blow up houses, and steal land, that environment will continue to fester and breed hate and violence.
