Kerry's parents could not afford his tuition. Their Aunt Clara (whose wing of the family did inherit money) paid for the Kerry kids, paid for St. Pauls and Yale. Kerry always had to work for a living though (like me) he went to the best schools and had very rich friends. Kerry did marry a wealthy woman, but what's wrong with that? She's a great woman and he didn't marry her for her money. The proof is that they have a 100% pre-nup. Everything that's hers stays hers.
