"Bush has been steadfast in the WOT but the iraq
adventure has spoiled that perception. We have a couple of
months to get back on track."

Sorry Mike, that's not true. It wasn't an "adventure" in
Iraq. Removing Saddam was a legitimate part of the WOT.
You may let the liberal left & the liberal media spin
reality for you, but I understand the stakes in the WOT.

Iraq had all the ingredients to further the danger of
global terrorism & regional stability in the ME. I don't
need to spell them out again any more than I need to
listen to someone revise history to create negative
perceptions about the Bush Admin regarding Iraq.

As for Rummy, I say keep him on. As much as this prison
abuse scandal is horrific, it needs to be put in
perspective. I'm certain those who were involved will be
severly punished. It will be a transparent process. Right
now the liberal left & the liberal media are hyping this
to the max & we don't even know the full extent of what
actually has happened.

It's a strange world where Palestinians video tape the
slaughter of a pregnant mother & her 4 children. The media
reports it as freedom fighters kill 5 settlers - end of
story. This is a common practice every time it happens.
Yet the prison abuse scandal rages in the headlines for
more than a week. Don't tell me there's not something
seriously wrong here.

As for the economy, yes Bush did one hell of a job with
the burst Nasdaq bubble & the recession he inherited, then
the horrific impact on the economy of 9/11. And once again
the liberal left & the liberal media have done their very
best to revise history to create the impression that the
economy today is still very weak & it's all Bush's fault.

Yup, there is a clear pattern here.
