GW Bush is a kept man by his father's money if you want to put it that way. Bush has never had to work a day in his life, and most of his life didn't really work.

Unlike GW, Kerry has worked hard all his life and has at many times been in financial straights. He knows what it is to struggle and have to pay the bills. The impression is sometimes that he was born rich. He wasn't. His family never had much money. He also proved his willingness to serve his country in the mosty rugged way, worked very hard throughout his life and plays hard too, in ways that make Bush look like a wimp (aerobatic flying, extreme sports, hunting, etc.) Since JK and Theresa have a strict pre-nup he cannot be accused of marrying her for her money. Although I'm sure her wealth didn't hurt.
