It's conventional wisdom US$ goes up therefore commodity prices go down. The charts say it all and the hedge funds etc dutifully obey. I've been waiting for the time when all the newly minted hedge funds of the past two years or so come a cropper, I do believe that this will be the time.
Commodities and commodity stocks are but a small part of the investment continuum. Coxe thinks that Oil and gas, PM and Base metal stocks are no more than 8% of the S and P index.
