Both are defamation, and truth is an absolute defense.

Presenting something as a fact, which is opinion,
is lying.

This statement of yours is an example:

didn't say Bush was gay, I said male cheerleaders usually are. That's a fact.

That statement is nothing but a nasty stereotype.
Not to mention an exercise in faulty logic.
It's also your opinion--not a FACT.

The vast majority of what you state is your
opinion, devoid of fact. That's why you
seldom, if ever, supply a link.
