As a guy who had been new to the US political system (during Lewinsky era) - I was just amazed at the premium paid by this country on an incident of personal life that had no ramifications on public life. While I have distaste for his offenses, I always thought that he was literally hounded by right wingers into perjuring himself. As far as WTC and other terrorism related incidents, hindsight is always 20/20. However the commission hearing indicate that both administrations sucked and this one much more so compared to previous.
