At our essence we probably all want a peaceful life, happy family, safety for the children in the world, especially our own.
I'm glad we agree on this..
However, my view of the world right now is that we're seeing the increase of an ideology that has no respect for such a belief.
The Islamo-Fascism that we are seeing taking seed amongst the youth of the Middle East, and seeking to violently spread its hatred and intolerance throughout the region, should be scaring the pants off of every peace-loving person on this planet... It's just as racist and supremist as any ideology we've heretofore seen in our history.
In this case, it's not racial supremacy, but religious. It's Jihad against all non-Islamic beliefs, to either be destroyed or suppressed by these fanatical extremists.
And we need to finally figure out, as a nation and a world, that the "war on terror" is really a war upon such fanatical and intolerant beliefs.
And unfortunately, that means we're going to have to fight them.. and kill them.. And more unfortunately, many innocents are going to caught in the middle of this great struggle.
