I too watched nearly the whole Hearing, and was equally surprised that those questions weren't asked. Thought Liberman's comments were particularly appropriate, and thoughtful. He is one of the very few Democratic Senators I would deem a "Statesman". Byrd is a disgrace. Some Senators were more interested in getting their message across, rather than listening to any answer from any of the people who were there to answer questions.

Would love to see that transcript when it becomes available.

I noticed last night when looking up My Lai, and Secretary of Defense Melvin Laird, that there didn't seem to be any call for him to resign, or calls for impeachment. There were over 550 people killed in that disgrace.
