What a load of garbage, Dipy...
I'm sure there are plenty of Iraqi's that are glad that we took Saddam out. Alas, that doesn't make good news for the media. So we never hear about it.
BTW, I'm not trying to minimize the poor treatment these of prisoners; it's deplorable. But I suspect that these prisoners are terrorists or Saddam leftovers. Sadly, the media has not released the reasons for detaining these prisoners. Probably never will, eh?
This is priceless though: Kosovo and Bosnia are imploding? How come our troops are unscathed then? And also according to you, things are going great in Iraq, but it is only our troops that are getting killed! Sorry, that may be what you bought from the RW media, but I am not buying it!
With respect to Kosovo and Bosnia...you are bringing up the casualty issue again. This does NOT determine the success of an operation. Perhaps you should do a bit more research, Dipy. Bosnia and Kosovo are unraveling. Then again, you don't want to hear this, so I won't hold my breath waiting for you to come up to speed on this issue.
I did not say things are "swell" in Iraq. What I am saying is that it is NOT as bad as the media would have you believe. The good news in Iraq is ignored because the media prefers to reports the misery to boost ratings. Surely you can see this...welll maybe not. Again, you are bringing up the casualty argument again. It's invalid!
You close in typical liberal fashion: Sorry, that may be what you bought from the RW media, but I am not buying it!
Do so at your own peril
