biz.yahoo.com Reuters Millennium Cell and others get DOE research grant Wednesday April 28, 11:03 am ET NEW YORK, April 28 (Reuters) - Millennium Cell Inc. (NasdaqNM:MCEL - News) which has a proprietary process to store, generate and deliver pure hydrogen, on Wednesday said it is part of a group that will receive a five-year research grant of up to $30 million from the U.S. Department of Energy. The Eatontown, New Jersey, company will participate with Los Alamos National Lab, Pacific Northwest National Lab and other partners to study chemical hydrides as a fuel for fuel cells. Shares of the company rose 41 cents, or nearly 17 percent, to $2.83 in late morning trade on Nasdaq.
