Stop Kerry by throwing the bad guys some red meat. Mike, when was the last time you ever threw a mad dog a hunk of meat, that they said "Thank You", and didn't want more?
If Rumsfeld quits, or leaves, ALL Americans will feel the loss. For a very long time, IMO.
I too respect Bush for stating his confidence in him, even if the left can, and probably will, use that for political reasons.
The story isn't through on this situation yet, not by any stretch. As he said, it will get worse, PR wise. We don't know yet WHY these people who participated in the outrageous behaviors did it....
Were they the products of a very liberal country that is so 'me centered' that they didn't pay any attention to their training?
Were they trained enough, or did we (Senators and House) provide enough funds to do adequate training?
Were they see so many videos, MTV, movies, and video games that seemed to show that whatever they did was 'mild' compared to what they were watching?
