Sutton Place Gourmet gets some of the raw cheeses and lets them ripen "properly". I had read something in a newspaper about French cheese and was looking at the display, waffling on whether to buy or not, and a lovely young woman who looked like a younger version of Teresa Kerry, very worldly, a customer, not staff, selected a few of her favorites for me, raving about them. When I got them home, I opened them up, and they went straight into the dog's dish. They smelled like my brother's feet after he road across country on his motorcycle, wearing leather boots and the same socks for days.

The dog will eat anything.
