From the Mory Eljabat interview (sounds like he's softened his stance, eh?): CommWeek: Changing gears, have you resolved the problems with your 56-kilobit-per-second modem technology, and which modem standard will you support? Ejabat: That has been totally resolved and we are in full production on the 56K product for the Max and TNT lines. It was a manufacturing and software problem. As for standards, right now we have the 56K Flex scheme, but we will support whatever standard emerges. +++++ "....manufacturing AND software problem...." What the hell else is there. Thats like saying you had car trouble, but it was ONLY the engine and transmission.
