Great news for America.. bad news for Kerry .. The economy created 288,000 new jobs and the unemployment rate fell to 5.6 percent, the Labor Department estimated Friday, both ahead of expectations. See full story. March's payroll gains were revised higher from 308,000 to 337,000.
