As best that I can figure Gottfried, my pop-up stopper seems to stop almost all undesirable cookies...or at least dump them as soon as I shut down Internet Explorer.

The pop-up stopper has a cookie manager that allows me to designate which sites I want to allow and keep cookies (from). Others are relegated to an exclude list and are automatically deleted when IE is shut down.

Consequently when I run Ad-aware and Spybot S&D I rarely find any data mining cookies...the scans come up clean 90% or more of the time.
