Oh, come on, getting a fair trial is not the reason you wish the photos hadn't been leaked. Certainly not the main reason.

The vast majority of conservatives on FADG and Politics for Pros has registered outrage that the photos were leaked, and until now not one of them has said it was due to fear that the rights of the accused would be violated.

It's a black eye for America. No way around that.

And the chorus line is also screaming that Iraqi terrorists haven't apologized for Fallujah nor has Osama bin Laden apologized for 9/11. I find this logic breath-taking, and not in a good way.

I'll sign off with something from Victor David Hanson's latest:

>>On the one side are those who believe in Western exceptionalism, the unique menu of individual freedom, personal liberty, consensual government, capitalism, rationalism, free markets, religious tolerance and self-critique. These believe that Western liberalism historically has been the only hope for mankind, inasmuch as it is an evolving concept that allows criticism and change, and incorporates widely divergent religions and races under its singular cultural aegis.<<

BTW, Drudge says that videos of American soldiers raping Iraqi women and little boys are coming. At some point, I hope that everybody will quit arguing that we should not apologize until Osama bin Laden apologizes.
