Not only cheerleaders, but we have church choirs absolutely crawling with gays. This statement that "most male singers in church choirs are gay" came as a huge surprise to my husband and me. I rushed to tell my husband. "According to AS, you are gay, honey. Why haven't you told me this? And so are Chuck and Bill and the rest of the tenor section. SHould we tell their families?" "Wow," said my husband of 26 years. "I hadn't realized how repressed I was. I just thought I liked to sing." "No, you are gay. And I imagine I should tell my school choir director too. His very pregnant wife is going to be so upset, but I'm sure this isn't confined to just singers, but to anyone who dares to make music." "Maybe it's just tenors. I could switch to bass." "No. I think you have to do some really manly manly things like ride motorcycles and pretend to look death in the eye to be straight." "I look death in the eye whenever I have to sing a high G." "No, the congregation looks death in the eye listening." said my son, who is home for the weekend. "I play the guitar. Do you think I'm gay?" "Probably. But your brother may be ok since he's a drummer. They are violent and hit things with sticks. That may be manly enough to pass the AS testosterone test."
