If Gore or Kerry were president at the time, it probably wouldn't happened. bin Laden ain't no dummy--but he knows Dubya is. And I believe even Osama underestimated just how dumb Junior is. Can't imagine how many Wet Dreams of bin Ladens' have come true under the watchful eye of George W. Bush. The very thought of Kerry or Gore being president during 9-11 send chills up mine.
