Here's an ALERT!

Per Barrons data, the Fed monetized $2.199 billion in debt last week ending Wed. May 5, way above the weekly average over the last year of $583 million. This bears close watching, and is the kind of thing that could really spook the bond market. Foreign custody holdings increased a brisk $10,095 billion, so somebody is back, even if not the BOJ?
