I don't think so. It's the 21st century and we're suppossed to be a civilized country. I don't think it's understandable. I think it sick and anyone who tries to rationalize it away is sick as well. That's like saying it's understandable that some serial killer kills people because he grew up in a rough neighborhood. Life is tough, but there is no reason to act like a barbarian. We were suppossed to leave that behind when we left the caves.
