And we find, in the rather obscure but inspiring 50th Anniversary commemorative book of the US 11th Armored Division, Volume II, page 26, a story which took place in the village of Reiff, Germany, on February 21, 1945, and related by one Rog Mockord, 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon:

"they had 'captured prisoners who had been seeking shelter in the hay in a barn. There was 6 to 8 inches of snow all around. All of the prisoners claimed to be a "Pollock" drafted into service by the Germans. We did not want them digging around in the hay looking for their shoes, so we marched them back to town and headquarters without their shoes. The Battalion Officer was very upset with us, for marching prisoners barefoot in the snow, so he made us march them back again to get their shoes.'"

War is never chosen. But war requires the proper attitude.

Regarding the prisoners "tortured" in Iraq: FUCK 'EM.

Regarding the TRAITORS of the Senate Democrat Caucus defending those enemies Friday morning: MEGA-FUCK 'EM.

I am SURE I speak for the veterans of the 11th Armored Division, and the 88 OTHER divisions of the era, all with similar stories to tell.

Few of them are around today to post here (including my father.) May they rest in peace. WE will settle with TODAY'S traitors, very soon...
