The GOP is trying to make atrocities disappear. Fox News is helping out by toning down their coverage and calling the torture-rape-murder-necrophilia "abuses". That is a very generous word. I agree the US needs to work hard to reverse the damage of all this, but covering up and pretending it's no big deal isn't the way to do it. Amazing to see Cheney and others out today calling Rumsfeld the best DOD chief we've ever had. My God, the Iraq War is a total mess. Compare to the Kosovo campaign where we did not lose a single man and worked in concert with NATO allies.
