Bush, Powell, and Rummy have admitted that there was no Uranium ore from Africa.

They did? All I heard is that they admitted THE CIA/US INTELLIGENCE has found no basis to uphold those claims about Niger.

But it's not exactly like the CIA is well-known for its human intelligence collection capacity (at least any longer)..

Blair's promotion of Scarlett is an old bureaucratic trick: when disaster strikes, reward those responsible.

One possibility, but I count it unlikely given the furor it has raised amongst the Conservative opposition.

And they claim they had more than one source..

But maybe you're time would be better spent finding out why the French seem unwilling to share such information with the CIA, but were apparently willing to share it with MI6..
