I watched McLaughlin group today and he pointed 50% of the population wasn't happy about the direction the country was going in. Big deal. Democrats wouldn't be happy if there was no war, gasoline was 25 cents a gallon, BUT there is a Republican in the White House. KKKers wouldn't be happy if they were living beyound their dreams because of civil rights. City folks want to cut farm payments and farmers want to cut welfare to city folks. It all comes down to one thorn in my side if I think the US is on the right path. Just because you aren't happy with the direction the country is going doesn't mean a vote against Bush. You may not like the direction but hate the Kerry direction even more.
