Sorry to misunderstand you, philv. And yes, I read that article a week ago, although I think they gave China a little too much credit<g>. They first ignore China for too long, then all of a sudden, they woke up to find China does matter, then they exaggerate China's impact.

Having said that, China does have quite a number of big naitonal projects for the coming years, and the auto industry is developing fast, so the demand for steel, cement, as well as energy will continue.

I read for the May1-7 long holiday, just in Shenzhen, there were >400,000 drove their own cars to do sightseeing. Wonder why gas price is high<g>?
