Oh well, once the micro-organisms at the bottom of the food chain have their little intestines clogged with plastic it will be a quick trip for the rest of the carnivores. Without another habitable planet in our immediate solar system and a new ice age on the way I give us another 7,000 to 10,000 years. Some think we may be rescued by an alien race but we really don't have much to offer outside of being a potential food source.
