Hi Don,

Re: I can't think of a more perfect role for a CIA plant than the one Pitt plays.

Ouch! While you and I may have the body of knowledge that indicates to us a much more malevolent role for the shadow government here in the U.S. than Wm. Rivers Pitts seems interested in countenancing, I find him to be at least 90% useful.

He does have a vast body of knowledge, he's even been gracious enough to correspond with me on matters of some questions I had regarding his sources.

I think that what you may be seeing is a man who scrupulously adheres to mainstream sources for information, albeit with an internationalist tone, and makes his conclusions based on hard, cold facts, rather than more ephemeral speculations which we sometimes indulge ourselves in.

I think your attack on Pitt is mis-directed. I've read him for over two years now, and I can't think of a single instance where I've skeptically thought he might be a part of the CIA's Mighty Wurlitzer. That's just a bit far-fetched. I'm certain that the hesitation that you see as cooperation with the government's disinformation campaign is actually a very savvy writer remaining within the bounds of what he can get away with printing without incurring ruinous libel suits that would silence him for sure.

Take off that tinfoil hat, Don, and smell the roses.

Pitt is a good guy. He's on our side. :)
