Dr Id, You left out one more reason to know when the moment will have arrived for Americans to reconsider blanket support of Israel: when it is in the interest of the American people to get mixed up in a far-away quarrel --- the outcome of which is of no consequence to them. Ah, but that moment is now. Time for reconsideration.
