Laughlin knows, or should, that polls today mean nothing. It is like nailing jello to the wall. Late September and October is when opinions start to count. These so-called journalists and talking heads use polls today because they are too damn lazy to develop an issue (some still don't know how) or because it agrees with their position on a candidate.
