hi tc...

i was wondering if anyone on the thread has had any problems with an msn messenger redirect of their home page?

recently i had a msn dialogue box pop up at the start up which was directing me to download a new version...it was the kind of dialogue box *without* an "x" close button, you could only get rid of it by clicking yes/no then "ok"...

when i clicked no the ok my home page was redirected to msn.com...(my setting are for about:blank)...i had to go back and manually reset to blank...

this morning when i ran the adaware and search and destroy, i found a malware listed "possible browser hijack attempt"

and sure enough the new redirect page was listed as microsoft.com/isapi/redirect

i was amazed when my home page was redirected to msn.com at the time, and remember thinking microsoft is hijacking home pages?????

apparently so
