I don't see anything even in the most extreme that would stoop to that. No, this was a proud victory for the terrorists, such that they even video taped it.
This sounds a lot like the killing of the 3 Americans on the Gaza road. Remember the posts by the various extremist conspiracy theorists who blamed Mossad? Even Arafat had some guys arrested after being pressured by the US for some justice.
It's always easy to create the bizarre conspiracy theory when the normal fact pattern would lead to an expected result.
Your assumption is extreme and there is nothing to which you can point that would justify it. The killing of Rabin was seen as a political statement, the killing of a political enemy, the leader of the state too moderate for the assassin. As crazy as that was, I don't think they would kill one of their own, a settler, a pregnant mother and her children. I don't see anything remotely in their fabric to do this. That's why you don't see suicide bombers among the extremist Israelis. You don't see them strapping on belts and going to Israeli Arabs or Muslim holy sites, etc. Other than that one crazy guy at the Mount, you don't even see Israeli extremists mass killing Arab civilians.
The terror mentality is not taught in Israeli schools, even in the most extreme of the Settlers. They are fanatics but no where near those of the Palestinians whose hatred is bred and used by their leaders, as a tool, to stay in power. |
