OTOH, I have modest-sized long-term bets on three companies, and small interests in 11 others. I usually try to limit my portfolio to no more than 12 companies, so I've got a strange mix of bear and bull out there.
therefore, from my perspective........ nice to have some strong corrections, going into ASCO, but it's not entirely without bite.
situation before the Bush admin's decision to go to war.... mideast free of weapons of mass destruction, U.N. weapons inspection ongoing. Afghanistan, which harbored terrorists and those who funded them, needs attention.
