A thinking terrorist would figure out that flying into buildings and taking human life gets you a world of trouble. However, playing the world derivative markets, a la Soros and the pound, would seriously harm the West, get Bush out of office, and net you a tidy financial return.

And then there is Soros with public comments about getting Bush out . . .

This election may make 2000 look like a preschool playground.
