I doubt it. Gold is dropping because of increasing US interest rates and increasing strength in the dollar. US equities are dropping because of strength in the US economy, the prospect of a higher discount rate and because that's what stocks do at this time of year. US equities will move sideways until the tug of war between a prospective higher discount rate and the prospect of dramatically higher corporate earnings is resolved in favor of higher earnings and higher stock prices.
