The War on Terrorism is over, as a war. The only way terrorism will be fought in the future is using police investigations, the various iterations of Interpol, FBI, MI5, CIA, etc., using surveillance and forensic accounting and the like.

The murderers in Fallujah have put on the uniforms of the Iraqi army, with our blessing, and will protect the Iraqi people from us, with our blessing. We're going to pull out of Iraq as soon as we can establish some semblence of order.

I know you don't get it, all you see is attacks on Bush, you don't get how horribly wrong this has gone.
