The problem with your argument is that Kerry was entitled to change his mind - ONCE.

He can't simultaneously be a war hero for serving in the war, a moral hero for being against the war, and a moral hero and a war hero for being for the war again.

He can't simultaneously take every possible position on every important issue, although he certainly tries!

Like the thing with the cars. He's in favor of cars when he talks to auto workers, but says he only has American cars, forgetting about the Audi and the Land Rover. And then when he talks to environmentalists, he has no cars.

He's a greed head. He has to pick one position and stick with it.
