Why were they so naive about resistance from deadenders, al sadr crazy shia, and porous borders allowing in terrorists. In retrospect this looks almost like criminal neglect. If the police in NYC failed to protect new yorkers from such an obvious threat, heads would role, the PC would be fired etc etc. but not for our protectocrats in washington. Bush could have done the carpe diem thing last week. Too late now Georgy. None of this had to happen if the war and post war had been handled better. Mike
