So, you're arguing that Abu Ghraib is the Iraqi's 9/11? Well, not exactly.. But considering how it has impacted US public opinion, as well as that of the Arab street, I'd say the impact has been very comparable, except in this cause it's fed self-doubt on the part of Americans, while creating emotional rage on the part of most Iraqis. Of course, 9/11 elicited emotional rage on our part, while a good part of the Arab world rejoiced. There was very little self-doubt on the part of the Arab world.. just self-denial that Muslims, militant or not, could have committed such an act. But thanks for making me clarify my language...
