Then it is your belief that gold is not a hedge against a lower dollar valuation? The USD is floating the world at the present time and all good bubbles deflate, eventually.

I still believe that gold is still a good place to put your dollars in uncertain times such as these. What happens when those trains blown up in Spain to influence an election become trains or planes in the USA? Our anxiety will keep gold up for many years to come, imo.

History proves that FIAT money has never succeeded as a currency forever. Gold has been a currency for 5000 years.
