AmeriChip International Inc. creates new subsidiary Wednesday May 5, 9:02 am ET

DETROIT, MI, May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - The Board of Directors of AmeriChip International Inc. ACHI:OTC-BB (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has created a new subsidiary; AmeriChip Tool and Abrasives.

Until now the Company's business model has been focused on offering chip control management through the implementation of its patented LACC process. At a management meeting held on May 2, 2004, it was decided to expand and enhance the services the Company offers to the machining industry. The first step in this process was to create the new operating subsidiary, AmeriChip Tool and Abrasives. Mr. Ed Rutkowski, Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Operating Officer for the Company, will head up the new division.

Mr. Marc Walther, the Company's new President and Chief Executive Officer believes that this new tool and abrasive subsidiary will have great synergy with the Company's overall ability to optimize savings for its customers. "This division, he said, allows our sales team to assist our customers in generating cost savings not only in chip control management, but also providing all tools necessary for the removal of metal in the machining of their products. We are excited about the potential this division offers in improving profitability for our customers and in generating revenues for AmeriChip."
